Sabbath Rev. W. Mills preached 11 oclk. Revd R Sellars at 2 oclk and Mr Howitt 7 oclk. all
the inmates present at the three services. clean, orderly, and in health.

Monday 16th Three of the girls have painted the bathrooms. little Sharlote handled the brush better than the other two. poor little thing. she is trying hard to learn to read and write, and sew, we consider her case a very hopefull one.

Teusday 17th Eliza Brace has been very naughty, she is far worse to manage since her Sister Hester came here.
they either quarrel with each other or leauge together in mischeif at the school. thereby giving the teacher much
trouble.

Wedensday 18th Inspector Saunderson sent £2.0.0. enclosed in a letter stating his willingness "to pay 10/- pr. week whilst the person named Saunderson [underscored] remains". Sent an acknowlegment to him.
