I returned from Ayrshire
about a fort night ago – leaving
all well – One change has
come to us this year – in the
death of my sister in law Lady
Neill – poor thing – she had
been ill for a long time – a
complication of disorders – She
had a fit quite a year ago
from which one side ever
remained much impaired –
and with relapses – and
rallies she went on until
about 6- weeks ago – when
two fits in one day terminated
her life – She leaves one daughter
unmarried – a pretty delicate
girl of about 22 – her eldest
