not reach him for a month
and by this mail he writes
to me that he waits my
further instructions as the
shares have gone up so
much – and I felt really
well pleased to wait un-
till I could have a more
detailed account – but
an hour or so ago I had
a Telegram from her from
Rome saying – "Your silk worm
shares have not been paid
write this mail and
have them paid" – I wish she
had waited until we met – for
tho' very glad to give her a little
help – I cannot be assured
about how she is getting on –
