now known - time was when in the morning of our days we delighted in each other's company and [participating in the jumping] partook in the daily/silly rounds of boyish amusements - time is when we are looking forwards with an anxious eye concerning the affairs of this life while its sorrows at times almost appear to overwhelm us - the time is coming when we shall have done with these cares, these troubles of this way by laying down in [indecipherable] about [indecipherable] - but may a brother in affliction encouraged by friendships which once entwined our hearts together [indecipherable] - shall we meet on the other side of [indecipherable] into waters with joy and gladness, there to behold the animated countenance of a mother - endearing manner - of a Father - united by the closest of affections - my heart grows warm sounds of refrain - have we built upon the same foundation the mark of Ages - is our love to our .[indecipherable] forwards and do we use all the gifts of providence as wise stewards.
