Today is the day after the GMAT. It is three weeks since end of quarter and I have finished ISIS - II COBOL and written my list of things to improve for COBOL and had AI Elec here for technical conference. That seems like three past what would be the end of the year for finishing CP/M (that is if it had been finished then). Yesterday was a very major day. Today is spent relaxing and deciding what I want with regard to the future. My MicroSoft list, at the left, shows what I want from them. The biggest point of course is to manage due to the fact that I am worth so much. I will go over this will Bill tomorrow.

I also decided that the only place I will apply to for MBA are UW, Harvard, and Stanford. First I limited the range to those on the GMAT Council and then chose. I will wait till I hear my score to apply to Harvard and Stanford.

I feel I did well on the test after having prepared for it although I only finsihed half the reading comp section. That shows me I must practice reading for comprehension and asks me whether I want to and if so, why. Why do I want to comprehend. In order to know, I say. I guess it just takes practice so that you can learn by reading when you do get to Business School.

It's been three weeks since Oct 29. Since then the stock market was in chaos. That took a week. Then I went to Mountain View for ten days and returned Tuesday evening. The last couple days I have caught up. Now I want to write about my trip and which business school to attend.

After I arrived in SF I went out to experience it again to essentially test the viability of Stanford living. The Castro area and Alphies were just as old and foggy looking as usual. I got a little drunk and then went to baths and met two guys one with nice legs and the other black with good overall body. He was from S.U. some time ago. Now 31. I saw him again Tuesday night. OK but nothing special. Personality conflict. Monday I went to S.U. party (pits) and to JD's in Santa Clara, where I met one interesting looking guy but he was a clinger + prissy. Marvin was there too and I arranged to have dinner with him Wednesday night. That was rather boring. Food was good. I have been so lucky to have a nice place and nice guy like Chip to live with. Good music but we talked electronics too much.

After resting Thursday night I went out to baths in San Jose late

Friday night. It was funny how I stopped at a gas station to call 'em and they said they are across the street from U-haul which I was standing just next to! It was nicely designed inside but most patrons were patronly. Not many young guys. So I checked out the bars in P.A. They were pretty quiet and then went to the Bachelor Quarters where I met Danny who had a very nice young body. But personality conflict. He was not too bright but very social. He + lover were there.

Saturday I forced myself in by 9:00 AM and worked till quite late. Then up to SF. Went Castro and decided strongly against just a repeat of Sunday. So I asked where new bar on Height was. Very nice I-BEAM. Had 5 rum + coke that night. Drove like a maniac and went to baths. Laid hunky jock type. Then it got late but I finally got another good looking guy with good chest and legs. He was nervous but ok later. So I left at 5:30. Home at 6:30!

Worked from noon to 3:30 or 4, then to Spa + back up to SF. [Rainy?] I-beam on Sunday afternoon. Then the baths again and I got another good body Roy. Mexican face but strong chest + legs. Nice! Then back to H. Inn early + up early and back to work.

Although I laid some good bodies it was not as personal as I'd like. I dislike having to drove one whole hour to go from S.U. to IBEAM: 15 minutes to freeway, 15 up 280 or 101 as far as airport and 15 to SF and 15 to get to destination. Even with cruise control it seems like a long way geographically. It is hard to meet people there who would want to come to visit at S.U. often. Why aren't there good bars around Stanford? JD's was not bad but not spectacular + the SU party was pathetic.

So: I spent some time on Weds at S.U. I had gone on first Monday + mens rooms were no problem. But on returning on Wednesday, it was a warm afternoon. And I discovered my problem was not the men's rooms, but that there are such beautiful guys in a beautiful setting, and there is no other way to approach them! It was so beautiful a day and so beautiful a realization. After dinner with Marvin that night, I went back to Inn to bed and felt good about the situation. I tried Friday to find SU guys at the baths in the south bay, but no luck.

I didn't go back to S.U. till the next Tuesday when I left. Still lots of good looks + real hunks.

I decided that for this one reason of distraction it would be so hard for me to go to S.U. to bus. school. I also tried other reasons. The weather can be dismal. Not good and not coldly invigorating but just rainy and dull. Also the school is not that specially good looking. And I don't like the eating places. And I don't like being intermixed with students studying other things, especially undergrads. And I do have a lof ot intense undergrad memories that would surface.

But Harvard solves all these problems. It has its own beautiful, charactered campus, good eating (dining) halls, close access to Boston for those horny weekends, separation from H. College by the river, nice on-campus apt, and no memories to interfere with studying. And the weather is intensely cold at winter. Good for studying. Also, lots more people go to HBS so you feel more of a community. It is the size of Lakeside. It is very Lakeside in fact.

As I see it I have a choice between MicroSoft and business school. If I go for BS, then there is the high level of Harvard and Stanford or the lower level being UW, or UCLA.
