[preprinted] who was duly graduated from the LELAND STANFORD JUNIOR UNIVERSITY [/preprinted] May 2, 1906[preprinted], with the degree of [/preprinted] Bachelor of Arts, [preprinted] and who, in addition to other studies, has completed the amount of work 'in the theory of education, or in the actual practice of teaching, under the supervision of the Department of Eduction,' prescribed by the State Board of Education, is hereby recommended as worthy, in the estimation of the Faculty, to receive a High School Teachers' Certificate, in accordance with Sections 1521, 1775, and 1792 of the Political Code of California, and conformable to the authorization of the State Board of Education.
