April 6th 1919 Dearest Mother, I am due to sail about the 25th of April and so I hope by the time thee gets this I will be on the sea. One never knows in the Army whether you will do what you expect to do or not so I won't say for sure until we actualy start. Yesterday I pitched a game for the second Bn. and beat the first Bn. 10-6

This morning we had a regemental review and we enjoyed several good speeches by our commanders. I am hoping to get some pictures of this country for thee but it's not easy.
