Apr 13th Dearest Mother; As near as I know today we leave here about April 22nd and then after two days on rail hit Brest about the 25th & we should leave there tat day.

If all goes well I hope to be in New York about the 1st or 2nd of May and then shortly I will be home -- it can't be true. Well the boys just took mess sergeant Gibney down & threw him in the creek. Sgt. forgot to make them any sandwich to take to the parade today -- he's feeling poor & needs it.
