& same from Hay house - after din
Ben got 14 Bbls from Ashton & took
grist to Mill - Jery cut wood

3 " 2 Jery - Ben to town with 27 Bus
potatoes - I coopered Bbls after din
com^d filling them with potatoes

4 " 3 Jery 1/2 day - hauled wood with
Asas cart, after din I at potatoes
Ben back at 7 PM

5 " 4 Rain in morn, Ben took horse to shop
after din meas^d up potatoes -

6 " 5 Turned very cold in night - Ben to
town with potatoes

7 " 6 Snow, about 9 heavy N W gale
with heavy snow squalls lasting
all day Ther 14 [degrees]

2 " 8 Jery Ben self & Levi with Fathers team
put 5 four horse loads in ice house
by 2 PM; banked round ice house
and opened sugar beets

3 " 9 Jery (1/2 day) Ben got a load of sawdust
in ice house, after din hauled stone
I went to collect hay bill of M^cCabe
