Rose Gilpin showed the bracelet which Margaret Elgar Gilpin
as one of the eleventh generation of Brook descendents had
received from Mr .McCormick Good hart for her participation in the
program at the before mentioned reunion.

Fanny Iddings read an article called, My Four Freedoms of Age",
by Sophie Kerr, which seemed to sum up a number of the ideas
which had been brought out previously.

There was no final report on the hospital supper ,but Elza
said the fancy table had realized $800.

A notice was given of a Civil Defense Meeting at Sherwood next
Tuesday 8P.M. A representative of each neighborhood organization
was asked to be present. The sec. said she would go.

Mary Miller told of the colored people's, old people's home
to be built above Gaithersburg-The amount to be raised $10,000.

The next meeting places will be The Community House with
Louise Hough--Plainfield with Helen Moore--Riverside with Rebecca
Small.

The meeting then adjourned to a delightful and delicious supper.
Served most agreeably and efficiently by the daughters and grand-
daughters of the family.
