Rebecca Small told of a Cowbird and English Sparrow eggs in the
sparrow's nest. This is one bird which the Cowbird does nor usually
molest. No one could answer her querry as to what the Cypress Sage is.

When Helen Moore said in the presence of her 4 1/2 year old grandson
that she did not know what to read at The Association he suggested she
read the bible. She told the story instead.

Elsie Stabler a pitiful story of a vetren in his hospital bed who
wondered at the futility of it all.

Ethel Stabler gave us another version of the Age and youth question

Alice Farquhar read of the Borden Cow,Elsie, who had been used
in advertizements, and at the time of the World's Fair in New York
had to materialize by popular demand.

We were glad to welcome Edith Green back with us.

Elizabeth Ligon read the program for the Flower Show.

Coz. Mary Brooke read of the old pack pedlers.

The name of Faith Farquhar Morris was recommended by the membership
committee, and the Secretary was directed to cast a ballet for her.
Her name will be placed of the waiting list.

For her Hospital report Helen Moore told a little of the Blood
Bank which has been established at our Montgomery County Hospital. we
now have 75 beds, including Bassinets.

Rebecca Small asked for help in making Cancer Dressings, which
The Lay Health Committee is undertaking.
