Helen Hallowell, It will be lovely to have all club books in
before Christmas, so she can put them out of the way. Committee wants
to know who wants to belong next year, so please let her know.

Deb. Willson, nothing.

Rose Hutton told of the very nice books in the Community Library,
wishes more would use them.

Rebecca Small read from The Prophet" by Kahle Lebrasne. Question,
"Does the Hospital want old blankets?" No.

Sylvia Woodward read from, "Once on Christmas", by Dorothy
Thompson, a book sylvia had given herself for her birthday. Question,
"What is the shrub with green and red leaves?" She saw it in 16th St.
and it is very showy, Possibly Abelia.

Kath.Adams read a Christmas poem.

There was no old Business, Deb. Willson reported on hospital, New
Officers of the Woman's Board, Pres. Mrs. J. W. Barnsley, Recording Secty.
Mrs. Regineld Conley, Corres. Sect'y Mrs. Rust Canby, Tres. Mrs. Wm.J.
Thomas. During the year the Treasurer has handled $33,000. Returns
from the supper were $5,000. plus. Don't forget Donation Day on the
6th.

Deb. Willson told of a special donation to the Needlework
Guild as a memorial to Mary B. Hutton. 36 garments given by her
daughters and 6 friends, as a special donation this year.

No new Business.

The Secretary was asked to write Bertha Crum and Elizabeth Grey and
tell Mary Reading how much we all missed her and hope Beth will soon be
well again.

Adjourned to meet with Esther Stabler Jan. 6th 1949.

Gertrude Masssy told some interesting incidents told her by Eleanor
Stabler Clark, of her trip to Germany, and especially the need of clothes
and shoes.
