The members of the Horticultural
had the satisfaction which has been
rare lately, of a ride in the sunshine
before meeting for the first time in 1899.
The year which has already proved
a record breaker. Mary M. Stabler
read an article containing several
recipes for destroying insects injurious
to plants. Robert H. Miller read one
on mushroom Culture which made it
appear a desirable crop to grow and less
difficult than often supposed.

The poultry report was as follows.
