Minute: If only two subjected are discussed
as for instnce tmperance & [illegibel?] or
the Secretary is merely a sort of phonograph in
a very imperfect scale, repeating only what she
hears, she can at the nexting only make a
rehash of [illegible?] & temperance. Which may
be [mmotonmer] & she would welcome one or two
questions out of the common order.

Be it will understand the Sec. d[emir?]
superioty hereself in this matter, vemy rarely able
to think of any question, but knowing there
one may[bright minds} in the society ache the
to remember to give her phemographic fences
new to me once in a while.
