An interesting accountof a Mudge Canner which was seen in operation in Wash. was given.

Peaches were put in the jar cold - the hot syrup added - Cooks in five minutes.

Single ones $3.00 Double ones $5.00

Advised to plant grass in the spring unless a small yard where it might be planted in the fall and protected.

E.R. Stabler & Chas. Bond what will take tarnish off old brass handles of bureau.

It was considered that it pays to put up tomatoes even if glass jars have to be bought, as canned ones will probably be higher this year owing to the blight among tomatoes.

Our hostess asked us to suggest names for their new home at the next meeting, stipulating however that the names must not have [underlined]wood[end underline] or [underline] grove [end underline] or [underline] glen [end underline] in them - and she would make no rash promises about accepting any name suggested but wishes a variety to choose from.

There was a feeling of regard that this will be the last meeting at Glenwood where the Home I.T. has been so hospitably received at times for many years, but this was counter-balanced by the pleasure of welcoming the family in their new home, where they can be seen more frequently.

As the meeting was principally devoted to announements & petitions, it was a good time for the Sec. to make a [illegible[.
