172 Meeting

The largest "Home Interest" we have
ever had met at Sunnyside on May 17th
1886. Most of the members being present,
with the addition of 27 guests.

After reading the minutes of a year
before, the usual walk was taken. Flower
and vegetable gardens visited, both of
which gave evidence of thrift and timely
care. After our tour of investigation
the Minutes of last Meeting were read
by the Sect pro-tem, and it seemed
to me that it would add very much
to the interest of the Society for the Sect
to be absent quite frequently. With
no unfinished business before us we
proceeded to questions. But all being
apparently satisfied with their present
stock of information, none were presented.
The Sect was beginning to fear she would
have nothing to record, but what might
lucklily originate in her own fertile
brain when our friend Robert
Shoemaker came to the rescue with
an interesting talk on Paints.
