The Enerprise Club met at
the house of N S Brooke
11 m 9th 1878 with nine
members present, an increase of one
over our last meeting here.
Granville Fanguhar was chosen
foreman, After reading the minutes
of the last meeting here, we took a
short walk to the stable, Hog range
for feeding, where we saw some fine
hogs, and back by the spring house
& through the garden, After reading
the minutes of the last meeting, the
following questions were asked &
answered.

1. Has the time come for reducing the
wages of farm hands. came up from
last meeting. An interesting
discussion was had on this subject.
and as near as I could tell the
prevailing opinion was that the
price paid for labor is as low as
the hands & their families can live
upon.

2 Is it necessary to put sheep under
cover this early for comfort.

Ans. It is not, but they should have an
open shed for them to go to in bad weather.

3. How to kill lice on pigs

Ans. Grease & kerosene both advised

4. Should I plant fruit trees now or wait till
spring
