-- 15th of 6th 1872 [June 15, 1872] --
-- The club met at Olney --

At 4 P. M. when the meeting was called to order by
Frederick Stabler as foreman there were 7 members present --
F Stabler -- Wm S Brooke R. B. Farquhar R. M. Stabler
HOST Granville Farquhar Jos. T. Moore & Wm W. Moore

We had as guests Charles Farquhar, we read the minutes of the
last meeting held at this place -- by the time we were ready
to start on our walk our number was increased several and by
the time we got back to the house all our members were present
except two and we had two or three more guests.

On our walk we saw the cows all of which looked well and
were said to be doing first-rate making over an average of
6 lbs of butter to the cow including the Alderney heifer. The
pasture was very good and there was plenty of it even for this
dry season

We crossed the corn feild to the mowing feild --
the corn stood well but was rather small -- the grass like most
[e]very bodies was thin and not very high, we next came
to another pasture field where we saw 3 nice colts
