Ques 5th What deduction ought turnpikes to
make for broad tread wagons.
Ans 8 would say 1/3, 5, 1/2, 1, 1/4

6th What is the cause of some persons having to
churn so much longer than others.
This question led to considerable discussion
and the following reasons were given.
When ows have been milked a long time
and there is no cream from any cown that
has been recently fresh, it is apt to be the case
and there is great difference in churns
the ^principal of the old fashioned barrel churn is about
the best, the cream should be at a temperature
of about 65' at this time of year.

Ques 7th How many hogs did the members of the
Club kill this year and how much pork
did they make, this report is from 13
members when the other two report it can
be redorded in the back of the book
138 hogs make 22.727 lbs pork and 172 average lbs.

8 Will a cucmber pump work in a well
over 45 feet deep
Ans No.

The time having arrived for appointing a
secretary for the ensuring year, a motion
was make to rescind the old rule for taking
them alphabetically and Wm W. Moore was
then appointed, may his honors rest lightly
upon him is the hope of the present incumbent.
We then adjourned to meet at P.T. Stabler's
