The club met at the house of R M
Stabler and organized at 4.37 with
R B Farquhar as foreman.

After reading the minutes of last meeting
here we proceeded first to the garden
which has been lately enlarged
giving a much improved appearance
as well as a much more valuable
garden. The hogs were next looked
at where our host invited us to
instruct him as to the best mode of
draining a piece of wet land near
the road. The plan proposed by those
who seemed to have had most experience
was to cut the ditch just above the
wet land on three sides.
A new ice house was being contructed
walled with stone.
After returning to the house the following
questions were asked and answered

1 What are pumpkins worth per load of
6 barrels or 60 bushels
Ans Average price $3.30 per load
2 What is the best mulch for strawberrys
Sawdust
3 Shall I put my mare to the horse now
at the 9th day or wait until next spring
A 3 would now & 8 would wait
4 What is the best for outside paint
A Zinc
