appointed he should be requested to copy his
minutes in the book, as that might prevent
the same accident occurring again.
We adjourned in quite a hurry as many
of our members wished to attend a lecture
to meet at Asa M Stablers May the 22d 1869.

The Club met at Sunny Side.

All the members present except

We had as guests Caleb Stabler
Wm Lea Jr. Jas T. Moore
Thos Shoemaker & Chas Stabler.

In the absense of the Sec.
Arthur Stabler was appointed to serve as
Sec. pro. Tem. According to the usual
practice Frederick Stabler was chosen
foreman, he having recently declared
a dividend in his Family.

After reading the minutes of
the last meeting held here about
15 months since. We started
out under the guidance of our foreman
(who had twice proved himself to be
a man) We first visited the Barn to see
the working of a Patent Derrick for
