As- $1.00 per bushel there would be about $8.00
more prifit to the acre. from large than small seed.

The club met at the house of
the secretary Granville Farquhar & Benjn H
Miller was appointed Sec. Pro Tem.
Sam Hopkins, T. J. Lea. R.B. Farqahar
& Wm T. Brooke were absent, we had as guests
Dr Wm B. Magruder. Chas Farquhar & Mm Lea
Fred Stabler was appointed foreman, after
reading the minutes of the meeting- held
here 15 months ago we walked out to take
a look at the premises, found the corn
house nicely swept & as bare of corn as at
our last meeting, in the orchard we found
some of the same stock of thorough-bred (?)
hogs that were noticed last year. I have
every reason to believe that- we shall see more
of them next season. A chestnut till loaded
with nuts recieved many striking indications
of our regard A flock of sheep and some
fine cattle seemed to be doing well in the
timothy field to sod of in which was rewarded
