An invitation was recieved from Wm.Lea
for the club to meet at his house. It was
cordially accepted and we agreed that we
would meet there between the next two regular
meetings.
Adjourned to meet Wm S. Brook's

9th Mo, 5th 1868

Nearly a full meeting assembled at Avrow
today, and of the most beautiful days that
could be imagined. We commenced our
long walk by visiting the beeves which were
in very fine condition. Then to the corn
field. the crop is good, nor leage fodder,
but well eared. The meadow is learge
and beautiful. The elders and weeds had
been cut down, and there was fine pasture
for the cattle in it. Very little plowing
had been done. The fence rows had been
brambled and the bramble was at work
in the potato patch cutting the weeds.
The sweet potatoe vines were very flourising
Question 1st your opinion of Drill's.
Answer. A little diversity. The sides taken
being -for- They finish the work as they go,
and sow the grain and fertilized more
regularly taking a less quantity of each
and can be working while the ground
