35 [degrees] Cloudy & Rain N.E.
Ther. MON. MAR. 27th, 1899 Wind
Cloudy, chilly & dull all day.
I went to the P.O. & to Fairall's
office. Fanny brought Dora home
from "Fairfield" & returned before
lunch time. The little dog "Jet"
either lost his collar or it was
stolen from his neck whilst he
was running out for exercise
this morning. After supper I
went to toll house.
35 [degrees] Rainy day N.E.
It set in for an old fashioned
N.E. rain storm after midnight
last, and has continued more or
less ever siince up to bedtime tonight,
making today extemely
raw & disagreeable. I went
to the mill & to Henderson's house
for the papers, and after supper
to Fairall's office.
