for flour. Dora & sister Lizzie did not
come until after dark, and Edwd.

leading "Frank" along to ride home.
Recd. a letter from Willie, whoes health is
far from satesfactory. I fear he cannot

the winter season.

Considerably warmer weather this

on that had "given out" in H's old one.
I came home to dinner. Old Maxwell
called to see me. After supper, I walked
up to Henderson's for the papers. It has
been extremely warm, or indeed hot, most
of today notwithstanding a strong breeze
from S. W. and is still quite warm at
bed time this evening but about 9 o clk
the wind changed to N.W. & NE with a "blow
and rain, & it is impossible to say what we
may have before tomorrow morning, in the
way of weather.
