Rain & Snow
Ther. 34 Sunday FEB. 4th, 1894 W. Wind

Extremely disagreeable day. Rain, mud
& snow. Benj: H Millers carriage "broke down"
opposite the mill on way to meeting, his wife
& daughter Rebecca came in whilst Edward
helped Benj, hitch their horse to our carriage
& they then went on to meeting. The ladies
had no overshoes with them & as it was very
wet & muddy could not well walk without
great risk to their health. It was snowing fast
but afterwards turned to rain & continued
all day as disagreeable as well could be
out of doors but we had a nice quiet day
at home.

more medicine for Miss Alice Tyson. The
"Farmer's Convention" holds its annual meeting
today at the Lyceum, using our school house
as a "banquet hall". I am suffering from a
severe cold & must be careful not to expose
myself more than necessary. I walked over
