Mr Boynton left the
setter "Nelly" as a gift to
me. I drove to Wm S Bonds,
Willie took Dora over to
Homewood & lef her to
spend the day there
Afternoon I drove over to "Sherwood"
& paid M L Roberts
$39.00. After supper we
had some music. Charley
Willie & myself.

Ther. Fri. Sept. 4th, 1885 Wea.

Willie rode bicycle up to
Rockville to the "fair".
Jno: Pumphrey here again
and I dressed his hand.
Afernoon Charley went to the
"Fair" at Rockville in the buggy
driving Levi hill's horse.
Mrs Moab White brought her
daughter (Mrs Phillips) for advice
& medicine. We had a prolonged thunder storm
lasting from 3 pm until
after dark. Willie got
home just at "dusk" and
Charley came after dark.
Chas: Boynton called to
see about the dog "Nelly"
