Ther. TUES. AUG. 4th, 1885 Wea.

I suffered with an attack
of "cholera morbus" and was
unable to rise until nearly
two o'clock. Harriet went
with Willie in the buggy to "Homewood"
he going on to "Riverside"
for the butter. Annie Rounds
came & washed for H. I drove
down to Ashton to see "little"
Tom Stabler but he had gone
to Washington. Afternoon worked at the "garden House"
putting down the floor &c. &c.
Sister B took tea here. Sully Leizear
here for treatment. Little Beulah
came to spend the night. Charley
went to "Riverside" & to R J Leas
after tea in the "spider wagon".

Ther. WED. AUG. 5th, 1885 Wea.

Beautiful morning &
much cooler than for
several days past. Cousin
Martha Lea called on her
way to meeting. I feel
quite "under the weather"
& did not sleep well last
night. I worked too hard
at the "garden house" with
Willies' help I got the door
nicely hung. Annie Rounds
ironed for Harriet. Robert
Awkard here for advice for granddaughter.
Jno Rounds here after
dark & had tooth extracted.
