Ther. FRI. JULY 17th, 1885 Wea.

Extremely hot weather.
Robt Sullivan worked most
of the day at "privy".
Phineas Carol Kalsomined
the hall or passage.
I recd telegrams from Frank
Tyson & answered them and
wrote to him in the evening
Willie & I helped Sullivan
as much as we could
the weather being too hot
for me to endure it long
at a time.
After supper Charley & Willie
worked at setting up C's
bicycle, the broken part
having come up from Washington
repaired after a fashion
but does not look strong enough

Ther. SAT. JULY 18th, 1885 Wea.

Still extremely hot. Robt
Sullivan came to work but
finding it too hot went home
again. Willie drove "Fritz"
to the "spider" wagon to see
"Bazil" & get part of his
bicycle that he had repaired
for him. Charley got his
bicycle head home from Washington
yesterday but it broke
again before he rode two
hundred yards this morning &
he got Marlon to mend it.
Roland Moore here to have a
"snag" extracted. Mrs Tyson &
Miss Alice here for advice &
med: for Mrs Simmond's infant.
I walked up to the store after
supper for some tobacco.
