Ther. SAT. JULY 11th, 1885 Wea.

A storm passed around
North of us last night
and it has cooled the
air very much. Willie
rode his bicycle to "Basils"
to have some repairs done to it.
Afternoon he took C down
to the store & drove over to Riverside
with a telegram from
Fred Iddings. I drove down
for C at supper time, and
in the evening went to Sandy
Spring & bought some ice cream
and brought it home for the
"folks". Charley does not
seem at all well being "run
down" with the hot weather

A truly lovely day. cool and
pleasant all day. Charley &
I drove over to Riverside &
spent most of the day there.
Fred Iddings & his friend Mr.
Sage, Jas P Stabler & F Snowden
being there. Perry Thomas here
for advice & medicine for his
wife soon after breakfast.
Willie rode away on bicycle
in the afternoon & came home
after dark. Charley came
home with me and after tea
went to Tom J Lea's with "Fritz"
& the buggy.
