Went to see Dr. Whiteford & Mrs Hg Waters. Dined at R I J's. Wm Dickenson went to Glen Cove after Bro: R they both took tea with us. Prescribed for Saml: Harper -
Rain & Wind Sunday 2 50° Rain and high wind all the forenoon. Went to see Mrs. Henry Waters. After dinner Bro': R started to walk to Mr. Wilsons and from there to the Cove.
Clear. Monday 3 30° Went to see Mrs. H. Waters, Marion Gilmore & family called at the office. Jos: James also called for advice & med: Read: 1st No of N.Y. Tribune Dr. Whiteford took tea with us.

Called to see Mrs. Waters and went to Glenville before dinner. Afternoon went to Glen Cove with Wm Dickenson he driving cousin R.I.J's horses. Read statement of account from R I Jackson & Co to date $44.62.

Wm Dickenson took cousin Keziah to Ms McElvanes to dine. I received two boxes drugs etc. by stage from Bullock & Crenshaws. Read letters from Dr. Forwood B & C and N N Hensel. Harriet, Dora, Willie & I took tea at Mrs. Mary W Worthington's. Bro: R came up and spent the night with us.

I Wrote to N. N. Hensel. Bro R went to the Cove. Wm Dickenson left in the stage for "Lincoln" Del: Thos: King and Mrs William spent the evening with us. Read letter from I. Wood

Mailed letter to Isaac Wood. Several patients in the office besides callers. Marlon Gilmore called in the evening . besides WW Wilson and his two daughters.

Went to the village before dinner. Miss M Shure & Miss E Hopkins called at the cottage. Bro R came up to tea. Recd & answered letter from J F Paxson.
Clear Windy. Sunday 9 15
Bro R drove my mare & sulkey to the Cove returning to dinner. Went to see Mrs. Jas: Forwood.

Left with R.I.J. for Havre [] and Philada Reached Bingham House at 1.½ p.m. After dinner I went to see Dr. Forwood & Dr. Da.Costa Called at U.B. Kirk's took tea. After tea Dr. UBK & I went around to Dr. Da. Costas and left a bottle of urine.
Tuesday 11 Clear: Dr. Forwood & I walked to Bullack & Crenshaw's where I paid my account with them up to date $12.65 and purchased medicines etc. again to the amount of $15.25. Dr JM Da Costa met us at 12.15 pm. and endevored to introduce catheter for R I J unsuccesfully

Dr. Da Costa met us at 11.30 and shewd us the result of microscopic and chemical analysis of R I J's urine. Paid our bill at Bingham House $19.70 and moved around to U.B. Kirk's. R I J retired early. Mr & Mrs Bennet and the rest of us played whist until quite late.
