Monday July 20th 1868
Went to Isaac Woods and spent
most of the day John Bishop came
about 1/2 past 10 o'clock and worked
the ballance of the day, he & J Boyd
finished building and hauling in
the wheat from the "spring house field"
the wheat is now all in the barn
except the Rakings without a drop
of Rain upon it. it is now (1/2 past 9
p.m.) Raining for the first time for
two weeks. Went over this evening
to see Jno: McPherson who is doing
well.

Tuesday July 21st
Rainy (or Rather) showery this
morning and not fit to horse rake
J Boyd + I went to the river at
"Fite's Eddy" to fish; got some
nice catfish. Went and Returned
by way of Fairfield, stopped at the
tinmans and had some Repairing
done. Reached home about 6. o'clk
