The Senatus agreed to enact the following amended
laws for the good government of the College, and ordered a
Copy of the same to be hung up in the hall of each of
the four buildings occupied by the College.

The University of Queen's College
I
Studies, & Attendance upon Classes
1. As even occasional absence has a very injurious effect
on their progress, all students shall be regular in attendance
on their classes, precisely at the ringing of the Bell.
2. During Class hours the strictest attention shall be
given by them to the business of the Class.
3. Habitual, & incorrigible idleness, and neglect of duty on
the part of any student shall be liable to a penalty to the
student of expulsion.

[underline]Religious duties[/underline]
1. All Students shall regularly attend morning prayers at
¼ to 9 A.M., and all those residing in the Boarding
House shall regularly attend upon the devotional Exercises
in
