2. All Students shall regularly attend divine service in
the Church to which they belong, conduct themselves while
there with the strictest reverance, and the rest of the day
shall be employed by them in a manner befitting its sacredness.

General Deportment of Students

1. All impure, & profane language is strictly prohibited
under pain of the severest penalties.
2. All playing of cards, and games of chance, the use of
gunpowder, and of firearms, and the keeping of dogs is strictly
prohibited; [added later: as also the use of ardent Spirits]
3. Smoking, or any similar nuisance, shall not be allowed
within the walls of the College.
4. No students shall go into the Kitchen, or maintain more
than necessary intercourse with the servants.
5. No one shall be suffered to intrude himself upon his
fellow students, or in any way to disturb them during their
studies.
6. All offences against courtesy, in the intercourse of
students with each other, are forbidden.
7. Rude and noisy conduct, all wrestling, or fighting, all
pelting with snowballs, or other missiles, are forbidden.
