Ald Dunn brought up the petition of G.F. Wilson asking
for a refund of six months Taxes on frame building
which was pulled down in May last to make improvments.
Referred to Court of Revision

Reports from William Irving City Engineer were
read. Re Water Tank and cost of street watering.

A Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the
City of Kingston was held this day. Present

His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen
Carson, Clements, Drennan, Dunn
Gildersleeve, Harty, Hobart, Little,
O'Brien, Redden, Robinson, Shannon,
Thompson, Whiting, J Wilson

The Clerk read the minutes of last meeting
The Clerk read the award Re Corporation City of
Kingston and John Maloney - amount of $1250.00 and
each party pay his own costs.

A Circular from John Lowe Esquire was read
Re Industrial Exhibition to be held in London England
in 1886 - Referred to the Committee on Finance &c

A Communication from J Muckleston & Co. respecting
Taxes was read and referred to the Finance Committee

A Communication from the Alert Hose Company
was read respecting sale of Furniture - Referred to the
Committee on City Property

A Communication from W.S. Gordon respecting
removal of Night soil was read - left over for present

Ald Thompson brought up the petition of James
Marshall and others Re Street watering Barrie street
between Princess and Queen streets

On motion of Ald. Thompson seconded by Ald. Dunn
Ordered, That the petition of James Marshall
and others be referred to the City Engineer with power
to act.

Ald. Drennan brought up the petition of Messrs
McCammon Brothers asking the Council to allow the
building they have erected on Brock street to remain
as it is - there was no action taken therein

Ald. Carson brought up the petition of William
McCammon and Patrick Clark asking for a reduction
of
