That persons tendering for the construction of sidewalks
be required to state the Ward or Wards for which he tenders
and the prices for the several kinds of walk in each Ward
separately, and the Council shall have the right to say
how many Wards, or whether any shall be awarded him
which being put was carried and the report was adopted
as amended.

The Chairman from the Committee on Fire, Water
and Gas brought up two Reports which were read and
referred to the Committee on Finance and Accounts.

Aldermen Allen, Little and J. Carson here left.

On motion of Ald Smythe seconded by Ald Gordon
Ordered, That the Council do appropriate the sum
of Two hundred dollars for the Review on the 24th instant
to assist in entertaining the volunteers who take part in the
Review.

Yeas: The Mayor Aldn R.J. Carson, Clements, Craig,
JP Gildersleeve, Gordon, McIntyre, Quigley, Redden,
Smythe, Wilson 11
Nays: Aldermen Creeggan, Dupuis, McCammon,
McGuire. 4

On motion the council adjourned until Monday
evening at the usual hour.
