On motion of Ald: R.J. Carson seconded by Ald: Allen
Ordered, that the letter of John McKelvey President
be referred to the Committee on Streets to report

Communications and petitions from R Waddell,
P.R. Henderson; Revd A. Wilson, M Dolan and James
Marshall respecting Taxes were submitted and read

On motion of Ald: Smythe seconded by Ald: Carson
Ordered, that the Communications of R. Waddell,
P.R. Henderson, Revd A. Wilson and M. Dolan respecting
Taxes be referred to the Court of Revision

On motion of Ald: McCammon seconded by Ald: Gordon
Ordered, that the petition of Mr James Marshall
in reference to Taxes be referred to the Court of Revision

The Mayor submitted and read his final Report to
the Council

Ald: Gaskin brought up the petition of Arthur ONeil
praying permission to lay down building materials on
Barrack street below Ontario street

On motion of Ald: Gaskin seconded by Ald: R.J. Carson
Ordered, that the petition of Arthur O'Neill in
reference to laying down stone at the foot of Barrack street
be granted on the Conditions that proper bonds are given
to the Corporation to secure it against loss by accident

On Motion of Ald: McCammon seconded by Ald: Allen
Ordered, that any Amount of the Ward, Park
and special appropriation for 1881 unexpended be passed
to the Credit of the Wards, Park and streets for expenditure
in 1882

Ald: Clements from the Committee On Finance and
Accounts brought up a Report (Number 112 Book E.) which
was read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Court of Revision brought
up a Report (Number 113 Book E.) vessel property taxes
which was read and adopted

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets and
Improvements brought up a Report (Number 114 Book E.)
which was read and adopted

The Chairman from the Select Law Committee on
Municipal Amendments brought up a Report (Number 115 Book E.)
which was read and adopted

A Report from Ald: McGuire Director for the City of
Kingston on the Kingston and Pembroke Railway Company which
was read

On motion of Ald: R.J. Carson seconded by Ald: E L
Ordered, that in view of getting stones for nothing for the
purpose of macadamizing Alfred and Upper Brock street that the
City horses still otherwise required be allowed to draw the stones
during the winter season from Bryants quarry
