That the report of the Committee on the Market
be referred back to said Committee to report
In amendment 2nd
Ald Gaskin moves seconded by Ald Pense
That the report of the Market Committee in
reference to Nesbitt be referred to the Finance Committee
to report which being put was lost the first amendment
being put was carried and the original motion was lost
Ald Dupuis from the Select Committee on
Slaughter Houses (Re Jas Richardson et al) brought
up a Report (Number 18 Book E) which was read
On motion of Ald Dupuis seconded by Ald Clements
Ordered, That the report of the "Special Committee
on Slaughter Houses" be received and adopted: and
that the same special committee be requested to take
"further steps" referred to in their report and to report the
same to this Council at some subsequent meeting
Ald McIntyre from the Committee on back taxes
brought up a Report which was read
Ald McIntyre moves seconded by Ald Irving
That the report of the Committee on back taxes
be received and adopted
In amendment
Ald Gaskin moves seconeed by Ald Anglin
That the report of the Committee on back
taxes be referred back to the Committee
The Yeas and Nays being called for several members
of the Council having left the Council Chamber there
being no quorum, the meeting adjourned
