That the assesors now about to be appointed
receive the sum of two hundred dollars each for all
work required of them during their term

that the salary of the assesors be $220 each

In amendment 2nd
Ald Drennan moves seconded by Ald Anglin
That the sum of Two hundred and fifty dollars
be the salary of the assessors for the present year - which
being put was lost

be reconsidered and that this Council proceed to elect two
assessors for 1879 at a salary of $300 each _ which
being put was lost

The Mayor declared, William L Gordon and Bartholomew
