The Chairman from the Committee on Streets
and Improvements brought up a Report which was read.

Ald McRossie moves, seconded by Ald Dupuis
That the report of the Committee on Streets and
Improvements be received and adopted - not put.

On motion of Ald Walkem, seconded by Ald Dupuis
Ordered, That a Special Committee be appointed
to investigate the charges against Mr. Innes in a legal
and proper manner and to report the same to this Council,
said Committee to consist of Aldermen Walkem, Gaskin,
McRossie, Metcalfe, Allen, Carson and McIntyre. Report
to be made at next meeting of this Council.

Ald McDermott from the Commitee on Fire, Water
and Gas brought up two reports (Numbers 593 & 594 Book D)
which were read and adopted.

On motion, the Council adjourned.

of Kingston was held this day. Present

Mooers, McDermott, Noble, Pense, Price,
Walkem

The Clerk read the minutes of the last meeting.

A Communication from Francis Ellington, County Clerk
was read enclosing resolution of County Council in re use
of Court House for holding Courts ($75 per annum accepted).

A Communication from James Swift, Esquire was
read requesting permission to extend his Wharf Johnson.

On motion of Ald Drennan, seconded by Ald Allen.
Ordered, That the petition of James Swift be
referred to the Committee on Wharves and Harbors to
report.

A Communication from Charles Field was read
complaining of the state of Gordon street &c

On motion of Ald Walkem, seconded by Ald Asselstine
Ordered,
