On motion of Ald Carson seconded by Ald McRossie
Ordered, That the Communication of J.L. Morrison be
referred to the Committee on Streets to report.

A communication from Patrick Devlin Chief Engineer
Fire Department was read in reference to Fire at Lawless'

Ald Pense moves seconded by Ald Dupuis
That the committee open the Park have power to
expend an amount not exceeding $150.00 in arranging for
supply of water without further cost to City in the City Park
which being put was lost.

On motion of Ald McRossie seconded by Ald Carson
Ordered, That when this Council adjourns tonight
it stands adjourned until the call of the Mayor.

A Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City
of Kignston was held this day. Present

His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen:
Asselstine, Carson, Clements, Drennan
Dupuis, Gaskin, Metcalfe, McDermott,
McIntyre, McRossie, Pense, Price, Walkem

The Clerk read the miutes of the two last meetings

A Communcation from John and Catherine
Murphy was read stating they have appointed Thomas
Parke Esquire Barrister to act as arbitrator for them
in Re Montreal Street - there was no action taken thereon.

A Communication from the Revd L.McVety was
read offering to purchase Lot corner of Montreal and Brock
streets.

On motion of Ald Carson seconded by Ald Drennan
Ordered, That the Communication of the Reverend
L. McVety be referred to the Committee on Finance with
power to act.

A Communication from George W. Brown was read
for use of City Hall on Council Meeting nights left
with the Mayor.

A Communication from Alfred Le Richium Deputy
Registrar
