Kingston May 17, 1897

A Special Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston
was held this day. Present

His Worship the Mayor

Aldermen
Allen, Bell, Carson, Donnelly, Elliott, Johns, Kent, Livingston,
Minnes, Mooers, McKelvey, Richardson, C. Robinson, W. Robinson,
Ryan, Stewart, Tait, Taylor, Toye, Walkem, Wright.

Ald Carson introduced a By Law to authorize the construction of a common
sewer in a part of Queen Street from Barrie Street to about 200 feet west of Bagot Street
in the City of Kingston as a local improvement under the provisions of the Municipal
Act in "that behalf" which was read a first time.

The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council went into Committee of
the whole on the second reading.

Ald C. Robinson in the Chair
The Council resumed.

The Committe rose and the Chairman reported the second reading of the
By Law clause by clause - The Report was received.

The By Law was read a third time and passed.

Yeas: Mayor Skinner, Aldn Allen, Bell, Carson, Donnelly, Elliott, Johns,
Kent, Minnes, Mooers, McKelvey, Richardson, C. Robinson,
W. Robinson, Ryan Stewart, Tait, Taylor, Toye, Walkem,
