My Dear Parents.
Thinking that
perhaps you suppose me "lost
or stolen" I will just let you know
of my whereabouts. I have concluded
to return home Friday night and
shall reach you if nothing prevents
Saturday. You may think my long
stay is needless, but to tell the
truth I have not been the rounds
yet; every day I find plenty to see
and admire. This morning I shall
take a view of Brooklyn, visit
its most prominent places, and tread
