26th. Boxing Day. The Inmates
worked util the dinner hour
and spent the remainder of the
day in games and reading &
enjoying the good things provided
for them at a sumptuous tea.

28th. Rev'd [Reverend] Symonds conducted service
Mary Gough gone as general servant
to Mrs Chester of Windsor at 10/- per week.
