Thursday, October 10, 1918

A good day. Ben and Owen plowed. Josie sewed some. Reese and Paul and Roy and Hazel come down here a little while this morning. Josie and I tried to strip tobacco this evening. It got so dry that we could not tie it as it should be done. Kate Harvey come a little while late this evening. She wanted to see Ben. We walked over where he was plowing. I have just finished stringing snaps for dinner tomorrow.
