Thursday, August 22, 1918

A good day. Ben and Paul got out tobacco sticks today. Josie went to Mr Jim Powers today and got damsons. She carried all three of the children with her. Denia Blair come over here this evening. We went up to see Carrie. She was gone to see Julia Fergerson and Alice Thompson. We staid at Marvins a while and then went home. Some one stole some of Bens water mellons last night. I had a letter from Thelma to day.
