Seconded and adopted-

Requisition
on Auditor of
[?State?] Mr Davidson moved that the President
and Secretary of the Ohio University be authorized
and directed to make a requisition upon the
Auditor of State for the sum of $9.000.00 appropriated
by the General Assembly of 1902 for improvements
and repairs, buildings and Library upon
indebtedness [crossed out] now indebtedness [end crossed out] now contracted
for those purposes- which motion was duly
seconded, and a call of the roll being [crossed out] had [end crossed out]
demanded resulted in the following vote to wit:
Yeas: Ellis- Lowrey . Jewett - R. E Hamblin - C.C
Davidson Lene- L. J Fenton - Jones [crossed out] [illegible] [end crossed out] -
Wood Whiley- Foster. T.R Biddle. and O'
Bleness- Yeas 13- [inserted] nays [end inserted] J.M Welch nays-1-
and thereupon the Chair declared that said
motion had been duly adopted by a legal majority of the Board ---
Mr O' Bleness offered
the following resolution to wit:
"Be it resolved
[inserted] Issuing
Leases by
Treas. O.U [end inserted] that the Treasurer of the Ohio University
under the direction of the Finance Committee
be and he [crossed out] and [end crossed out] is hereby authorized, and empowered
and directed to negotiate the lease of any [?vacated?] streets
[inserted] Defendants
Exihibit B. [end inserted] or land not now under lease in the Village
of Athens securing the best price therefor"
and moved its adoption which motino was duly
seconded and unanimously adopted by the
Board ---
On motion duly seconded and adopted the Board
adjourned without day
