Standing Committee on Finance
By Judge Johnson it was moved that a standing committee
of Finance to be composed of three members of
the Board be appointed, whose duty it shall be
to examine the books and accurate of the Auditor
and Treasurer and all [illegible] and the
reports of both offices and report the same to
the Board at its next annual meeting. After
discussion the motion was carried and Messrs
Bannon Boyce and Bundy were elected by the
Board as [illegible] Mr Bannon being
elected as chairman

Report of Committee on the Presidents supplementary
report
This Committee through its Chairman Mr Horton
reported verbally in favor of conferring all the degrees
recommended in said report, repeating that proposed
to be conferred on the Rev C H King; and as to him
the Committee recommended that the degree of Master
of Arts honoris causa be not conferred on him,
which report of the Committee upon motion
of Mr Wilson was received and adopted
and the degree therein recommended [illegible]
conferred, viz.
The degree of Bachelor of Science in
David G Chairman Thomas J Dillinger, Mary E Gill
Abram H Gannett, John F David, Adelaide V [illegible]
and Frank J Sternberger
The degree of Bachelor of Arts on
[illegible] L Hanton and Thomas A Jonah
The degree of Master of Arts in course
on David W Parks and Samuel B Ricketts
The Committee appointed to examine
the Treasurers report, reported that the Examination
could not now be made and recommended
that it be referred to the committee on
Finance, which report and recommendation
was adopted. Upon motion the report
