Executive Committee met May 23rd 1881. Present A.G. Brown
John Welch, E.H. Moore, W.H. Scott, J M Dana and
R de Steigner. Plans of Mr Hanaford for repair and
change of the Central Building of the College
submitted by Mr Scott for the consideration of
the Committee - Upon motion W.H. Scott was
authorized to proceed to word? and
personally confer with Mr Hanaford in regard
to the plan submitted and generally in regard
to the contemplated repairs of the College buildings
Upon motion Wm Revd was elected Collector of
the President and Trustees of the Ohio University
and his offered bond fixed at 500$ upon
motion the Committee adjourned.

Executive Committee met May 25th 1881 upon call - Present

R de Steigner. Verbal report of Prof W.H. Scott made in
regard to his conference had with Mr Hanaford under
authority given at last meeting of Committee - on
motion Prof W.H. Scott was directed to have Mr Hanaford
make and submit specifications and estimates of
the repairs of the Central Building og the University in
accordance with the plans submitted bu him
modified as proposed in the recent conference
at Cincinnati O
