Trustees - Now know all men by these presents that Mr Eliakim
H. Moore, Johnson M Welch Chas E. M Jennings Henry
O'Blenness Thos L Minter are held and firmly bound
unto the President and Trustees of the Ohio University, in
the sum of Twenty Thousand dollars, for the [illegible] much
of which well and truly to be made, we hereby bind
ourselves - Sealed with our seals and voted this 31st
day of March AD 1881.
The condition of this obligation
is such, that which the said Eliakim H Moore has
been duly elected Treasurer of The President and Trustees
of the Ohio University for the term of one year from
January 1st 1881 - Now if the said Eliakim H Moore
as such Treasurer shall faithfully discharge all
of the duties of his said office, and render to said
"The President and Trustees of the Ohio University" a
just and true account of his doings as such
Treasurer has when required and also [illegible] over
and faithfully account for to his discend in office
all monies securities and other property in his
custody and possession as such treasurer
as shall belong to The President and Trustees of
the Ohio University together with the [illegible] and [illegible]
in which his proceedings as Treasurer shall be entered
and kept that shall be in his hands at the
separation of his office, then this obligation to be his
otherwise to be and remain in full force and

Upon motion said Bond was accepted and the
